Bill and I satisfied our 'fantasy addiction' this past weekend by going to see "Reign of Fire". Granted, not one of the best but nobody does dragons like those CG guys from Touchstone.

Anyway, and this is where I need you my friends, the movie stars Christian Bale. I've never heard of the man. I WANT DIRT. ALL OF IT. The price of admission was satisfied the second he walked across the screen swinging that pick axe without a shirt. (I think Bill smacked me, I'm not sure. ) So, can I get the 411, pretty please?

Christian Bale is the young actor that came into prominence in Spielberg's "Empire of the Sun". Was later in that bad Disney musical "Newsies" (clients, well former clients-- of ours wrote that turkey!).

Lately, he was the lead in "American Psycho" which is showing a lot on cable.

And personally, I just know that his father recently married the never-before married feminist MS. Gloria Steinem.

As for his personal preferences...I don't know. But I'll ask around.

Thnaks, Little Bro. Don't worry about 'the preferences', the fantasy is fine. At least you've given me another movie to watch --- American Psycho. It did a cable run a couple of months ago but I'll catch it or rent it.

I thought "American Psycho" was one of the worst movies I have ever seen.

I can't say I liked "American Psycho" BUT if it's Mr. Bale's body you wanna see--he's running around naked in a lot of that film.

So highly recommended.

I've been a great fan of his since EMPIRE OF THE SUN. He has a short small sad role in Branagh's HENRY V, as well. You might also want to see his yuppie punk performance in SHAFT.
Who knew that he would grow up so good-looking? Hell, even the Goddess can see it!
