Pele is regarded as one of the greatest players of his time. But The Manager of the Brazilan National Team doesn't seem to hold the legend in high esteem.
- Pele knows nothing about football, he hasn't acheived anything as a coach and his analysis always turn out to be wrong, says Luiz 'Big Phil' Scolari to the chilean newspaper Le Tercera.
Scolari gets accord from his players in the newly crowned worldchampions who didn't want to let Pele touch the World Cup trophy after their conquest of the pitiful Germans During the world Cup Final.

I am keen and curious to see what our Brazilan section has to comment on this

I agree with "Big Phil" (the coach) this time. I just wouldnt say in such rude way, but it's true. PelÈ is/was the best player in the world, not an expert in tactics.

Remember, not always the best musician is the best maestro.

This may be a simple case of "payback" for Pele's constant criticism of the team the past year, especially if some of the players have resentment towards Pele'.
In fairness to Pele', he wasn't the ONLY person in Brasil giving the team a hard time....

Hey, I got another one from Scolari, about a week ago: "I've been influenced in this Cup by Marcelo Bielsa's tactics. In fact, we've copied Argentina's play all the time. We even saw Argentina's games in video several times, specially those of the eliminatory round".
Bielsa = Argentina's coach, remember?
I don't know what to make of this. I mean, he's joking, huh? I dunno...

Let's be honest, Argentina plays a strong football. No doubt about it. The good things must be followed.

Argentina played a 5 2 3
Like France in the world

or a 3 4 3

depending on how you look at the full backs as wing midfileders or as full backs...

Brazil had the same back set up but they played with one center forward and one creatvie forward

instead of the idiotic two wing forwards...
