Hi DISCODISK, our Northern Soul hero,

do you know if Frank Wilson is still alive? I believe he's not getting any money for those old records sold...

35.000 dollars for a 7" record is too much for me, even if it's a MOTOWN original.

Peace,

zeca azevedo :D

And then there were three!

Did these guys buy it Discodisk (if so, do you know how much they paid for it?), or are you saying that the shop has the records for sale at $35,000?

GREG no the guys found it in the shop and it is they who want the cash 8)

ZECCA yes franks still alive and though hes never gonna recieve anythingfrom the odd sales of these few records he does gain in other ways he gets asked over here, and one of the guys that owns a copy of this here owns a record label and released a couple of things on him an unreleased 7" and a c.d hes had some magazine covers holding the record, think he sees it as a bit of fun and is quite proud of it all

Hi Discodisk: Is there any truth in the rumour I heard that Mark Lamar also has a copy (albeit a very knackered one)?

I'm sure there are countless rumours about people who apparently have a copy stashed away.

hi GREG shouldnt think so,theres always rumours like one turning up in a market stall in lemington spa or somewhere like that, then theres the rumours of at least more two copies owned by collectors in the states much more likely than mark lamar or lemington spa! and the chicago one has to be proved yet!
