Default " SUN " Your favorite songs ?
Any fans out there remember this group ? They released over six albums from about 1976 thru till about 83/84 , there Funk was solid and deep and they never got the recognition they deserve. What are your favorite tracks ?

I agree SUN are one of the most underrated funk bands, but they are great!!!

My faves:

"Radiation level" a real killer
"Guiding light" a later production but with such a groove... such a groove.......

Finally some recognition to Sun who I've mentioned on this forum many times before. My favorites are:

Sun is here
Dance, do whatcha wanna do
Long drawn out thing
I had a choice
Radiation level
Reaction, satisfaction (Jam y'all)
Space Ranger
Slamm dunk of funk

among others. As previously stated a band who never really got there just due, I am happy to say I have the entire Sun catalogue.

I've got Radition Level, I think it has sort of a cheese factor towards the end of it, but a strong groove no less. Maybe I should check out some of they're other stuff.

The only song I've heard from them so far is "Sun Is Here" and I LOVE it!!! Great piece of disco/funk with bass!!! I hope to hear their other stuff too sometime.
