there will be a new book out at the year end THE MOTOWN TOP 500, as voted BY THE PEOPLE :P top tens are being accepted now but be quick, and theres a possibility your name could appear in it too! its a sister book to the northern soul top 500. the format should be the same the first 100 titles get a whole page then its 2 to a page thereafter,every record is pictured and valued.so the way to do it is compile your top tens and write a small quote about each one e.g marvin gaye-love starved heart-"dynamite detroit soul" thats where they could mention your name under the photo it could read "dynamite detroit soul" zecca azevedo -porto alegre-brazil so e.mail top tens to <www.motown@thesoulshow.com> zeccas going to be in heaven :lol: as its an english book its the stomping dancers that will win out, unreleased tracks will feature too, charlene wont even get a look in :lol: :lol:

i have a spare unused hardback copy of THE NORTHERN SOUL TOP 500 which is now out of print,i won it in a competition it retailed at around 50 dollars and would like to pass my good fortune on, i have spoken to BERNIE and hes KINDLY agreed to let me give it away in a small quiz for members here and its on my head and not bernies!so it can be posted anywhere in the world.so ill think about a couple of questions and do that on tuesday night at midnight u.k time[around half an hour before i posted this so thats around 95 and a half hours from now]the questions wont be northern soul ones,theyll be a cross section to be fair BE THERE OR BE SQUARE :lol:

great news for MOTOWN fans like us! You're right, I'm in heaven and I'll try to put my name on the book - maybe I'm lucky. The hardest part of this thing is to pick only 10 records by MOTOWN. Come on, I can pick a hundred!!!
