Rems: what was you favorite scene from "Car Wash"? There we so many I enjoyed it would be hard to pick just one. I liked when Calvin's mother "went upside" his head....I liked Lloyd and Floyd's dance routine too. But I still recall the first time I saw the film, and I'm pretty sure it was the first time I saw 2 Black men embracing so tenderly.

This is definitely one of the most underrated ballads I know, when I bought the LP it was strictly on the strength that the credits had Teena listed as producer, then when I heard this, I couldn't understand why it wasn't #1 on all the Quiet Storm charts! this is Teena at her best!
