Tropical Classics: Amazon-U.S. | Amazon-U.K.

speaking of Booker T and the MGs, I have an album of theirs that I've only seen once and never again...wonder how rare it is. It's called "Melting Pot".

Melting Pot is one of my all time favorite cuts from my clubbing days. I don't know if you are looking for vinyl or CD but it's pretty available on CD.

BTW, Booker T Jones will be performing at the Long Beach (CA) Blues Festival in a few weeks. I also was fortunate to see him at the Hollywood Bowl last summer. The late Isaac Hayes (may he rest in peace) was the headliner.

Rems: there are articles about Donna in the current issues of the SF Weekly and the East Bay Express, you may enjoy them. I'd forgotton (or possibly never knew) that Dolly Parton had a big hit with one of Summer's compositions....
