I heard about this a long time ago, but i couldn't get it confirmed. In the 70's i taped about dozen copies of Blowfly "Disco" for some of the local DJs and after playing it at there clubs a couple of them got the sack. come to think of it i did hear that members of the Sunshine Band played on the Blowfly sessions.

I saw an interview with blowfly a few weeks ago. Man, that guy is weird! I never got into that stuff. Only that Sesame Street track because it was on a drum breaks compilation record. Otherwise, it's stuff I can't play out loud anyway. Disco Funk

There was an article about him on the Miami Herald (I think) not to long ago, where he freely now admits and promotes he was/is Blow Fly, he still performs as Blow Fly today in area clubs.(apparently the world!!) His identity was a well known secret here Miami, even back in day when he released his Disco Album, at least among those that followed the local Music Biz. I personally met him many times back in the 80's, he is a very down to earth guy and the last you would think was the guy behind Blow Fly, he used to hang out at my local Record pool many times, and liked to chat with Djs, I think he was working with the Pool's administrator/owner, Bo Crane, who I believe distributed some of his 80's recordings.
