Solid Soul was shown on Channel 4 back in 1986. It was a series of half hours shows featuring black music only from US and UK.


Two series were made.

I don't remember this series at all ! God only knows what I was doing in 1989 then

How could you miss any of 'em? The first series had 26 episodes

This was in the good old days when Channel Four was '...an alternative...' Now they just make shitty soaps and Big Brother.
