The site is a veritable treasure chest. Makes me wonder how these guys fund it. The copyright fees, to have full length audio clips, must be enormous.

They were outta their heads on all manner of drugs weren't they?

There were some odd toons on the Northern scene that really caught on. For instance, I really couldn't imagine people groovin' to Sliced Tomatoes, but it was massive, wasn't it?

Good call Mark !
What is so great about 'Soul Club' is that the samples are fairly low res mp.3's and therefore unusable for much outside of casual listening, but give people the chance to hear records lost to many for years. I know that people mention unavailable, rare and obscure tracks in 'Soul Club' a lot and it's helped for many many tracks to be issued on CD since.
