Default ANDANTES

Can anyone tell me about the motown singers.. THE ANDANTES ?
I have a 12" single by them called LIGHTNING NEVER STRIKES TWICE. It was a recording they did in the late 80s with Ian Levine.
I believe they were the Motown "in house" backing singers ? is this correct ? Did they release much material ?

That track is not so rare on CD. It's on Motown's Nortern Soul 1 and 2 which is a British import. It will probably run about $30 for the double disc set and includes about 40 uptempo lesser known songs from Motown.
