i was watching a movie and at the end they played a song from bettye lavette - let me down easy (1965)
I checked her website and was i amazed, never heard of her
but what a powerwoman.
Now my question is does anyone know were to find the lyrics
can't find it anywere

Well, she played two songs - Joy, from her new album and Let Me Down Easy...wow!

What a powerful singer and what emotion...she has a unique style, but if you attempted to pidgeon hole her then it is a cross betwwen Tina Turner & Aretha Franklin, but more bluesy...I read somewhere she is performing in London somewhere. Time for some investigation me thinks!!
