This is why I love Fav' threads__ the recall of some classic tunes that you have totally forgotten like:

"Davicillo" quoted, "Soul Makossa"_ :D
"tcbgent" quoted," Boogie down Bronx"_ :D
"VideoScooter" quoted, "Magic Wand"_ :D(thanx fo' the info in the house music forum..I'll certainly look that label up)
"Mixmachine" quoted, "Bodymechanic"_ :D

great call ya'll.....I think socially the electro music genre is closely related to the disco era__ people were dealing with high unemployment, race issues, drug abuse, and overall physic depression__ partying and dancing became a cathartic appeal to repress these social anxieties.

Let me know if you have more great "electro tunes"

I would call some of the "electro tunes" above Italo, some synth pop etc. Doesn't matter. All great music from my "favourite period" the early 80's.
