*Pacha NYC* presents the return of International DJ/Producer *David Guetta* for a special Thanksgiving weekend extravaganza on *_Friday, November 27th, 2009_*. On the heels of Guetta’s new critically acclaimed album ‘One Love’ (Astralwerks), Guetta continues to conquer America with his most extensive U.S. tour to date and a triumphant return to NYC to recapture the dancefloor magic.

“I can’t wait to tour in America,” said Guetta. “I played at the Electric Daisy Carnival in LA and Electric Zoo in NYC this summer and the crowd’s energy was amazing. There is a real dance culture happening in America right now that I find very exciting.”

*David Guetta *has been on a hot streak since early summer, having produced the Black Eyed Peas record-breaking “I Gotta Feeling” along with the global success of ‘One Love’s’ summer anthem “When Love Takes Over” featuring Kelly Rowland and new monster hit “Sexy Bitch” featuring Akon. ‘One Love’ has hit #1 across Europe and entered the U.S. iTunes album chart at #12. Guetta was recently named the European ambassador and spokesperson for DJ Hero, further solidifying his stature as one of the world’s biggest DJ’s. This hotly anticipated game on Activision is out now and features 3 _‘One Love’_ tracks – “Sexy Bitch,” “When Love Takes Over” and “On the Dancefloor” - in an exclusive download package format.

Guetta released ‘One Love,’ a non-stop, party-thumping musical hybrid of dance beats and hip-hop/R&B vocals to rave reviews in August 2009 to rave reviews. People Magazine called ‘One Love’ “a party-rocking album” and the Associated Press agreed, “Guetta’s CD is one big party.” The album features vocals from some of music’s biggest names that includes Akon, apl de ap, Estelle, Kid Cudi, Ne-Yo, Novel, Kelly Rowland, Will.I.Am (http://will.i.am/) and Chris Willis.

Guetta continues to reach new heights in America. “When Love Takes Over” hit the #1 spot on the Billboard dance chart, reached #28 on the Top 40 airplay chart and #76 on the Billboard Hot 100. The second single “Sexy Bitch” is currently #1 of the Billboard dance chart, #35 on the Top 40 radio airplay chart, #23 on the Rhythmic radio airplay chart, #34 on the Billboard Hot 100 and climbing at a rapid pace. To date, it has sold nearly 400,000 digital downloads and is currently #21 on the singles chart. The Guetta produced Black Eyed Peas single “I Gotta Feeling” is undoubtedly one of the biggest songs of the year, making the Black Eyed Peas the longest running artist to sit at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Guetta shows no signs of slowing down with the announcement of his U.S. 'One Love' tour. Be on the lookout for the video for his 3rd single “One Love” featuring Grammy® award winner Estelle, another song sure to take over dance floors and radio airwaves around the world.

On Thanksgiving the Soul Revolution supplies its members its just desserts and a way to work it off. Libation provides for the soul with its second annual Thanksgiving Dessert Party. Come, bring a dessert of your choice to share and give thanks with your extended Global Soul cousins as the minister of sound provides the musical vibrations that will work off that turkey and dressing.

Libation is the central destination for the Soul Revolution and the future of Global Soul. With its bi-weekly sessions of celebration and audio and visual stimulation, Libation started as a small gathering at the Sapphire Lounge and has grown to set the standard for the underground scene in the Big Apple with its new home at the Sullivan Room. As the lyrical minister and the minister of sound, Manchildblack and Ian Friday, along with hosts, Afro Mosaic Soul, have created the ultimate venue to showcase Global Soul, the future of dance music as well as the Soul Revolution, the community and culture that will support the Global Soul movement into the next decade of the new millennium. Libation not only delivers drenched t-shirts, it also provides salvation for the spirit. There’s no need to go anywhere else, the greatest show on earth is here.
Viva the revolution! Viva the soul!

Boy oh boy here we go again; twelve months on from rounding off our inaugural year at the Ministry of Sound with a sell out New Years Eve show we are back to do it again. Yes that’s right The Gallery, one of the leading weekly club nights in the world is back to take over Ministry of Sound for a New Years Eve Spectacular that only we can deliver!

We have rounded up a bevy of the biggest and best Gallery djs to take over the four rooms of the Ministry of Sound, the place we now call home each and every Friday night. Rapidly approaching our fifteenth birthday (our second at Ministry of the Sound following the closure of the legendary Turnmills); The Gallery continues to set the pace that others try to emulate.

After another record year at the world famous venue in Gaunt Street; including hosting an arena at the infamous SW4 festival with the likes of Armin van Buuren and Above and Beyond; The Gallery is rounding the year off in style with an eleven hour New Years Eve clubbing spectacular.
The New Years Eve line-up is no different; blending the biggest and best djs and talent to create the perfect Gallery clubbing experience. First up we have one of our favourite sons, a dj we have witnessed grow into one of the world’s biggest names and a dj we are hugely proud to call one of our residents. Be upstanding for the one and only Sander van Doorn.

Jetting in from mainland Europe on a private jet this will be Sander’s only UK show on New Year’s Eve and we are delighted that he has chosen his London home to come and round the year off in style. With another huge year behind him including the launch of his concept night ‘Dusk till Doorn’ at The Gallery as well as mixing disc two of the Cream Ibiza compilation, appearances at every major dance festival and event the world over and a stream of top draw tunage on his Doorn Recordings imprint; Sander continues to dominant the scene with his unique sound and fresh approach.

An ever present force at The Gallery with his monthly residency, Judge Jules makes a welcome return to these shores for his first New Years Eve in the UK since 2000. Easily one of the hardest working and most enthusiastic djs around, Jules continues to fly the flag the world over for dance music; from his hugely popular Radio 1 show to his weekly Judgement Sunday night in Ibiza and everywhere in between. We are hugely privileged and excited to be welcoming him to The Gallery for his first New Years Eve in the UK since the millennium. A sure fire crowd pleaser, Jules will no doubt be armed to the teeth with his usual array of killer tunage; perfect to see the New Year in with style.

And to add a twist this year Tall Paul and Judge Jules will be selecting ten of the biggest tunes from the year to throw open to The Gallery faithful the opportunity to vote for their favourite to play at midnight. Look out for our special video interviews with them both coming soon with a full rundown of how to get involved in making this year go out with an extra special bang. We are delighted to be welcoming Gallery main man Tall Paul to take up the midnight mantle with his usual style and grace that we have come to expect from one of the true legends of the scene.

Always keen to showcase talent at The Gallery; Simon Patterson rounds off an incredible year by returning to Ministry of Sound. One of a handful of djs that The Gallery books regularly over the year; Simon has rocked the Box on each of his visits whilst racking up some serious air miles on his travels elsewhere. A consistent producer with no less than eight consecutive Beatport number ones, Simon’s full on tech trance sound has to be heard on the Ministry of Sound system to be believed and tonight will be no exception.

Matt Hardwick continues to be a force to be reckoned with in the world of trance with his Kill the Lights imprint releasing a whole host of big tunes this year as well as mixing the Gatecrasher Birthday and Digital Society compilation. Always one to deliver a killer trance set at just the right time Matt will be taking it up a notch in all the right ways to help us see in 2010.

The main room will be rounded off in style with the inclusion of Gallery residents Gavyn Mytchel and The Viceroy who will be providing the usual finale. Over in the Bar we welcome our good friends from the Elektrik Playground with a headline performance from Riley and Durrant alongside Gallery resident Tania von Pear and a real rising talent Gareth Harding.

The Loft welcomes Steve Lee and Friends bringing together a bevy of Gallery legends from other the years in the superb surroundings of the Loft.
With a limited number of £35 early bird tickets on sale right now we are firmly sticking to our motto of Excellence in the Art of Sound with another world class New Years Eve line-up... get involved!

Image: http://img130.imageshack.us/img130/3995/andreyasnm.jpg
Venue: The Queen of Hoxton
Date:Thursday 3rd December
Time: 7pm - 12am
Price: £5
Buy tickets: www.seetickets.com/soundcrash (http://www.seetickets.com/soundcrash)
Lineup: Andreya Triana - (Ninja tune), Stuart McCallum - (The Cinematic Orchestra), Lea Lea Jones - (R2)

SNM (Soundcrash New Music) aims to bring the best in new/unsigned/just-signed music to you in the intimate (and well sound system'd) surroundings of The Queen Of Hoxton. We are running on the first Thursday of the month and we aim to bring at least 3 new cool acts, including a headliner, for the bargain price of a fiver!
Kicking things off in style then this December we've got two of the hottest young ladies in the scene, as well as a seldom-seen but often heard young man and his new project, to try and give you a feeling of what this new monthly night is all about.

Andreya Triana comes to us today after a life-long love of music, and her knowledge and talent is testament to that love. Having toured her hypnoitc 'FreeFlo sessions' one-woman loop-pedal show around the world, collaborated with such super-cool giants as Flying Lotus and Bonobo, and a stint at the Australian Red Bull Music Academy Andreya is now preparing for the release of her debut album, produced by a certain mister Simon Green. We are thrilled to have her down for the opening night of SNM!

Stuart McCallum is the guitarist for The Cinematic Orchestra and is regularly on tour with the band worldwide. He has played on their Ma Fleur and Live at The Albert Hall recordings and along with the Cinematic’s creative director was heavily involved in the writing and recording of the score to the Disney film, The Crimson Wing. Stuart participated in the arrangement and recording of Radiohead’s Exit Music For A Film for their compilation album Exit Music: Songs With Radio Heads.
He has also performed and recorded with some of the most prominent international jazz musicians of today, including Kenny Wheeler, John Surman, Mike Gibbs, Gilad Atzmon, Ari Hoenig and Tim Garland. He has appeared in London at the Royal Albert Hall, Jazz Café, Ronnie Scott’s and the Barbican, and has also performed at the North Sea, San Sebastian, Montreux and Montreal Jazz Festivals as well as headlining the Big Chill in the UK, Illosarirock in Finland and Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide Festival in France.

LeaLea Jones has been a recognisable face on the music scene since her teens. She formally released singles as a feature artist under producers Okay Ma via the UK Based BBE Label, home to artists such as J Dilla and Jazzy Jeff. Through a combination of her fresh, unique sound and her sassy personality she has managed to capture audiences worldwide, from small intimate gigs at Ronnie Scotts, Jazz Café and the Mean Fiddler to the larger stages of the famous Sonar Festival (Barcelona), London Jazz Festival, London Earls Court and at various Google events such as World Economic Forum Switzerland and Google Zeitgeist. Audiences at these events which included the “Forbes’s” World’s rich list, Queen of Jordan, Gordon Brown, Bono from U2, Peter Gabriel and the founders of Google, Youtube and Facebook.

With 2 of the most creative forces in Hip-Hop coming together for this special Xmas spectacular & the last promotion from The Doctor’s Orders in 2009 you know this is going to be something special.

LA’s Stones Throw Records is widely regarded as the standard bearer for creativity in Hip-Hop. As the home for many of the finest MC’s and Producers in the art including the likes of Madlib, J-Dilla, Penut Butter Wolf and of course tonight’s acts Guilty Simpson and MED they stand out from their competitors through the consistency of their output.

The same can be said of London’s No.1 Hip-Hop party providers, The Doctor’s Orders. Having enjoyed four and a half years of incredible events throughout the capital, and now further a field with their new Brighton monthly, they were the obvious choice for this event that will be boasting the finest talents from both sides of the pond on the stage and turntables.

Guilty Simpson is part of the incredible music tradition that is the sound of the Motor City, Detroit. The tradition that takes includes The Motown Sound, the punk of The Stooges and the free thinking rock of MC5 is the product of a tough working class city where the sound of industrial machinery seems to feed into a musical creativity unmatched by any other city. Guilty is one of the new school of Detroit MC brought to the fore through their work with the late great production genius of James “J-Dilla” Yancey. Having appeared on his albums for both Stones Throw and BBE Records alike Guilty Simpson has gone on to release the critically acclaimed “Ode To The Ghetto” that has become a classic among fans of underground Hip-Hop and has finished work on the Madlib produced “OJ Simpson” due for release in 2010 that is sure to go the same way. With gritty yet amusing tales of life of the streets that never fall into cliché few paint visual pictures as clearly as Mr Simpson so expect to be transported from South London into his world while he hits the stage with all his force tonight.

MED, formerly known as Medaphoar, is as skilful with words as his name would suggest. The California based MC came to prominence through his work with Madlib in the form on the Madvillany album, with Quasimoto and went on to shine on his 2005 solo LP “Push Come To Shove” which featured incredible productions from the like of Just Blaze, J-Dilla, Oh No and of course Madlib himself. An instant classic with the indie Hip-Hop heads it has been a long wait for his second album coming in 2010 from which he will be performing tracks on the night. Again the majority of the production is handled by Madlib so is sure to be another rough diamond. Having not performed in the UK since 2007 this is a rare appearance that is not to be missed.

While these incredible Stones Throw artists grab the mic they are supported by a brilliant selection of DJs that display the true adventurous nature of real Hip-Hop as we head into the 2010. Spinning for the live performances and blessing us with a set of his own besides is DJ Dez. As the DJ for Detroit’s legendary Slum Village he has travelled the globe rocking crowds as part of a live force that has tragically been torn apart by the deaths of J-Dilla and then Baatin. As a producer in his own right Dez takes on the name Andres and is responsible for some of the most incredible fusions of Hip-Hop, House, Disco and Soul that have been heard in recent years. With a strong following among underground beat diggers, among whom his releases and mixes trade for substantial sums of money, he is sure to add to this fan base tonight.

Spin Doctor has been doing as much as anyone in the UK to help push what he considers “Real Hip-Hop” to the masses over the years and will continue to do so tonight as he treats what is sure to be a packed house to his trademark blend of Soul drenched leftfield bangers and classic boom bap. Joining him on the decks will be one of the most creative men to have come out of the darkness of their own studio in recent years Paul White. With his follow up to the incredible “Strange Dreams of Paul White” due to be releases on Stones Throw’s sister label Now-Again in 2010 he is certainly a name to look out for in the new year and will be warming up the party with a sonic journey through the huge range of music to have influenced him thus far.

Room 2 of this beautifully refurbished South London venue will be hosted by Livin’ Proof. Their team of residents; DJ Rags, DJ Snips, Khalil & Budgie will be playing the platters that has seen them build a regular and dedicated crowd for their monthly free party at Market Place.

This is the only Xmas party for any of the true school, open minded party people that know how to get down to the real Hip-Hop sound.

All of the artists on the bill are available for interview in the lead up to this event so for these or more information, photos, guestlist, etc please contact

[NY] 11.13 BLKMARKET MEMBERSHIP presents: FRIDAY THE 13TH

http://www.discomusic.com/forums/concerts-parties-dj-appearances/33799-ny-11-13-blkmarket-membership-presents.html

*Blk|market Membership* invites you to a deadly evening this Friday the 13th, featuring a team specially hand picked to bring you those haunting sounds that sends chills up your spine. We bring you the all star murderers Konrad Black, Anthony Collins, Shaun Reeves, Kate Simko, and Bloody Mary.

*Konrad Black's* name speaks for itself, as this is a talent we have been following for quite some time. His earliest production 'White Cigarettes' is on Swayzak's 240 Volts Sampler was a track that still we play. But it was the tracks 'Draconia' & 'Medusa Smile' which really hooked us onto his dark and eerie style. He recently just mixed Watergate 03 cd compilation for the famous club in Berlin which is a wicked mix. This will be his Blk|market Membership debut.

*Anthony Collins* is a rising star hailing from the famous Freak n' Chic camp in Paris. He is one of he main artists on the roster alongside Dan Ghenacia, Dyed Soundorom and Shonky. He's been on fire recently, having releases to labels such as Vakant, Tuning Spork, Liebe*Detail, Curle Recordings, Mule Electronic and most recently has remixed Ricardo Villalobos's new track coming out on Nice Cat (Los Updates's label). We are very excited to have him throw down for us for his New York Debut.

*Shaun Reeves* of wolf+lamb fame is a name that we have also been following since we started hearing about him. His gritty afterhours sound is just what we like and after hearing him play quite a few times now, we figured it would be perfect to go with the vibe of our party. Residing in Berlin, Shaun is quite a favorite in New York. His song 'Patience' has been in constant rotation in our sets and were very please to have him on board for the first time for our party.

*Kate Simko* also another out of town NY favorite and regular here also makes her debut to play our party. Since WMC 09 she has become a good friend and we thought that this Spectral Sound girl would be amazing to add to the bill also. I think that we made the right choice!

*Bloody Mary's* latest album 'Black Pearl' on Contexterrior caught our attention and if you have not heard it yet, we suggest that you pick up a copy. A few tracks from the album also come with a slew of remixes from top artists such as Sascha Funke as Jay Haze, as well as vocal collaborations by our friends Argenis Brito and Danton Eeprom. Get ready for some Blood on the walls for her Blk|market Membership debut.

So get ready as all our 5 headliners have been preparing something very special for this Friday the 13th.

Last but not least we have *K1W1* doing a special opening set for his birthday.

Residents *Taimur+Fahad* complete the lineup

*Pacha NYC* presents *Steve Lawler* as he hits the road for a 12-stop North American tour along with Jimmy Hill to bring forth his VIVa Music concept with a special extended set in NYC this *_Saturday, November 7th, 2009_*.

VIVa Music label boss *Steve Lawler* is fresh from being nominated again as ‘Best Ibiza DJ’ at the DJ Awards 2009 and with 12 releases in the last 12 months it’s been a lively year. This year saw prolific output coming in the form of original productions (Femme Fatale, Kalimba, Hocus Pocus etc) and remixes (Bat for Lashes “Daniel”, Radio Slave “Koma Koma’”). One of the label’s most successful releases was last year’s pioneering ‘On the Bus’ EP, which saw Steve become the first DJ to build a studio on a tour bus; the result was the 3 track EP release with his touring buddies at the time - Tiefschwarz and Audiofly. Now this EP is getting a complete reworking with three brand new remix EPs with re-rubs by Radio Slave, VIVA artists Syrossian & Nyra, Patrick Zigon, Hungarian artist Son-Tec, Tolga Fiden, French Maestro Mr. David K and another budding VIVA artist Leon.

Look out for new VIVa Music releases from Dualton & Masuki, Yvel & Tristan, Delete, and Horatio available on iTunes and Beatport.

The Doctor's Orders present
On The Real – The Re-Launch
Bringing you true school Hip-Hop & Soul
from Prince & Premier to Motown & Mos Def

9pm - 4am Friday 20th November 2009
@ Plan B, 418 Brixton Road, London SW9 7AY
(Brixton Tube)

£5 in advance through ticketweb.co.uk / 0844-477-1000
TicketWeb (http://www.ticketweb.co.uk/user/?region=gb_london&query=detail&event=348363)
£10 on the door

With Resident DJs
Shortee Blitz (Kiss FM / Extended Players)
DJ 279 (Choice FM)
DJ MK (Kiss FM / Roots Manuva)
Spin Doctor (The Doctor's Orders)
Snuff (Speakers Corner / End Of The Weak)
& Trill London hosting Room 2

After the horrendous blaze at Brixton’s premier venue, Plan B, we wonder if it is really wise to bring back the one night in South London that always guarantees to set the roof on fire?

With 6 months of packed parties at Bar Rumba before their move to Plan B, and another 6 months of block length queues after the move, there is little doubt that the magic that The Doctor’s Orders bring to their other nights clearly has an audience throughout the capital.

Dedicated to bringing only the real underground party sounds of real Hip-Hop and original soul to an unpretentious party crowd there is no reason this is party is not going to continue growing into Brixton’s not to miss party.

Shortee Blitz*is a shining light of the Hip-Hop scene in the UK. Whether supporting traveling US stars, holding it down on one of his weekly Kiss FM show or tearing the roof off clubs all over the globe one thing is for certain and that is that this MOBO award winning DJ is always going to be spinning with a smile on his face. Even more so now he is a resident at for a night dedicated to the Hip-Hop & Soul styles he truly loves.

DJ 279 has been rocking the airwaves since 1992 on London’s Choice FM. With MOBO nominations coming thick and fast `alongside other awards throughout the year and gigs around the world it is fair to say that Numbers has the ear of the underground with every MC worth his weight in gold plaques coming though the show to shout out London.

DJ MK*first came to prominence through his now infamous mid 90's mixtapes that are still the prize possessions of those wise enough to keep their tape decks well oiled. They now represent the blueprint for the sounds that MK will be spinning at this new night. When away from his day jobs as Roots Manuva's DJ & as Kiss FM's Thursday night Hip-Hop DJ extraordinaire he will be found doing what he does best, rocking crowds with the sounds of his beloved Hip-Hop.

Spin Doctor*is the driving force behind the phenomenal success of The Doctor's Orders and while not planning domination of the UK's party scene is most at ease behind a set of decks. The early influence of his 5 older brothers and sisters record collections developed into an obsession with soul tinged music of all styles which he uses to this day when treating dance-floors to his fearless sets of party platters.

Trill is hosted by a pair of brothers that are some of London’s hungriest and most knowledgeable promoters. Their night is dedicated strictly to West Coast and Dirty South
Hip-Hop from Crunk to G-Funk. With residents including
Hip-Hop Karaoke’s Rob Breezy with offers the perfect room 2 alternative for those that want to get crunked up!

On The Real is promoted in association with King Apparrel
