I've asked some of my DJ mates to see if they can track it down for you. They have quite a lot of mixes etc so somebody must have it.

Cheers Davi.

There could very well have been other "samples" at the begninning, but it's that "backwards recorded" bit of Funky Town, played over the top of Pop Muzik I can clearly recall.

Woulda been around 1985.

Unless that giddy teenage girl was after a free, 2 bedroom house and unlimited child benefit - in which case she'd go straight out and try again.

"Oi you, chav boy, you wanna ride?" ;)

I've only heard it once in a club. Musically, it's an almost note-for-note copy of Company B's "Fascinated". Ran to the record store the next day only to be informed that it had been already deleted after a pressing of just 100 or so...I've since seen it twice on eBay but always *after* the auction had ended.
There's a copy of this on ebay now:

AAAARRRRGGGGHHHHHHH! I was outbid by one #*&(@$#! dollar at the very last second. And it's by the same guy who's won the last four auctions for this record. It's like he's hoarding them or something...

The same guy bought four copies of it?! Wow, how weird. I wonder what he's doing with them all?

Maybe he's trying to collect all 100 copies and then holding them all up for ransom. LOL

Now, mind you, there are only four eBay auctions I know of. There are other auction sites and then there are also non-auction sales...

Tell me about it! Two copies should be sufficient. From those two, you can tape, retape, mix, deconstruct or burn to a CD to your heart's content!

Just leave some for the poor sorry folks whose hearts yearn for the joy of hearing that one lonely song just once more...<sniff>
