Neil, I was reading a Record Mirror from '83 recently & James reviewed a hi-nrg record by 'Sinitta Renet' (she used her surname too back then); can't remember the title but I've never heard of it b4. It was a good 2 years b4 'Cruising'.

Not really disco, but this last days I've been discovering the album Everything must go, by Steely Dan (the second since their comeback). Several hot tracks -my favorite is "Pixeleen"- and a crisped, polished sound that however doesn't hurt the material.
Long live Donald and Walter, the Lennon-McCartney of the Seventies IMHO.
