Samantha Gilles - S.T.O.P

Maybe I should have added this in my list of the mix, as it's included. My penultimate track of the night it's the fantastic Jackie Rawe - I Believe In Dreams... Pure energy this one is. Does anyone agree with me?

Final track tonight is Rose Laurens - American Love. Always a good one to end the night with.

Thankyou all.

I totally agree with you on the selection. All of them take me back to my time in the 80s.... Then I would like to add 'Taffy--Midnight Radio (I Love My Radio)' and 'Time--Shaker Shake,' now being played in my room

Two absolute classics there
That Rose Laurens track is a personal favourite. Great production and vocal. Bit of a late night "sleaze" classic.

2 more classics there. Although Taffy made it into the UK charts with that one, albeit with a variation of the title. 'Midnight Radio' didn't fit in as not many UK stations broadcast music beyond midnight. So this one was changed to 'DJs Radio'.. Somehow, it wasn't the same.

If anyone hasn't heard that track it can be found here YouTube - Rose Laurens - American Love
The track was also sung, although entirely different in French. Titled Quand Tu Pars.

Her official site is Rose Laurens - Le site officiel de la chanteuse française

Also on YouTube - Jackie Rawe - I Believe In Dreams.

Is that by reason of not annoying neighbours by making a radio noise? It is interesting because Japanese radio stations broadcast music a lot after midnight, even hard rock, trance and techno...

As I have just listened to the UK ''DJ's Radio'' version on the Japanese disco compilation CD ''That's Euro Beat 3,'' the back female vocals surely say so. I noticed it for the first time. I like both of the versions, anyway. Thanks for your information

I have a Rose Laurens album which contains some cool tracks.
AMERICAN LOVE is a bit of a cult classic here in the UK. Les Cockell always played it as part of his late night set.

Another I used at one time when I did a bit of dj stuff. Also used by a local radio station a few years ago for its weekly hi energy section. Produced by F. De Wolf on ZYX and later released on PWL YouTube - Rofo Rofo's Theme

Made a nice mix in with Samantha Gilles - Time

Funnily enough Rofo featured on 'The Hitman and Her' and that theme tune 'Timerider - Cocoon' was another I used once mixed in with another De Wolf production and one of my all time favorites, 'Bianca - One More Time'

YouTube - 2 Hours in 4 Minutes - YouTube - Bianca - One More Time
