I absolutely love this EVELYN THOMAS album ; I remember reading the NRG column in RECORD MIRROR and at that moment they were quite hard to find in Canada.But given that HIGH ENERGY had been such a great success worldwide ; the album got a Canadian release.

It is such a solid album ; I also got all the 12inches singles because it just had to be on the original RECORD SHACK label !!

To this day ; it is still one of my favorite from that period.
I also loved MIQUEL BROWN's 2nd RS album ; CLOSE TO PERFECTION.
There used to be this huge warehouse full of great "old" records in Montreal.I found so many of these hard to find classics for 99cents.
It was paradise ; sometimes I'd just go in to browse and would leave with 2 full crates...had to scrap all my plans for the day ; because I had to get those records home.
