SHOOTING PARTY TRACK

I found a 12" single the other day by THE SHOOTING PARTY - It is called I KNOW THAT MOOD - It was released in 1985 on Siren records - I had never heard it before.. It is Euro sounding but with rock guitars thrown in as well - anyone remember it ?

I can't speak for myself but a good friend of mine from New York City told me that "I Know That Mood" was a big hit at the big NYC Hi-NRG nightclub called The Saint. Shooting Party had one other pre-PWL single called "Trick Of The Light" as well that's probably even a little more Rock-influenced than "I Know That Mood."

The Saint... I have read/heard so much about this legendery club - I wish I had been old enough to go to New York and dance at the club !

I only went twice, it truly deserves it's legendary reputation. It had it all, wonderful lighting, music, stylish people, it was the pinnacle for me

I have a copy of Shooting party-Safe in the arms of love (Extra beat boys remix) its truly magical and there wasnt a spare space on the dancefloor in rockies in manchester when les cokell put this baby on the decks..awesome indeed..
