Default Two Songs I need help with in getting it.

Hi, a new jack here, great site, been a dj, for years but most importantly I try to collect as much disco as I can. Anyway Two just has been in my mind for at least two decades. Black Jack by Baciotti, and Sandstorm by La Bionda. (I think). I hope someone can point out where can I "legally" download these songs or purchase the CDs. Amazon has La Bionda but does not list the Songs since it's a Greatest hits compilation. Can you please help me.

The awesome Sandstorm is not available on any cd in it's complete long version and naturally we would not accept anything less. Same goes for the Baciotti track, you can get the 3 minute thing on a cd comp but what good is that? So, why not just get new fresh pressings of the glorious warm sounding original vinyl versions!

The 'La Bionda' album feat. the epic 'Sandstorm' is twinned with 'Bandido (inc. personal fave 'Moonlight Palais') on a Russian cd pressing easily available on gemm or e-bay.

But these CDs are horrible quaity bootlegs. Best to buy the vinyl, which may even be cheaper and sound better, and burn your own CDs.

hey Bernie,
While i'd agree the sound quality is sometimes lacking i wouldn't describe these Russian reissues as being 'horrible quality bootlegs'. Original album artwork is faithfully reproduced and fans wanting the original albums on cd should dig. I know i was sooo happy to finally have Amanda Lear 'Never Trust A Pretty Face' on cd in addition to 2-on-1 titles by Arabesque, Space, Dee D. Jackson, Baccara plus individual album reissues (with bonus tracks) by Fancy.

Think about it: supporting Russian bootlegs means throwing money at Moscow mafiosos who sell 4 yrs olds to brothels.

Yep - they got Voyage, Chilly, Supermax etc titles and more. These cds are made in Ukraine or someplace else in Russia, meaning they are illegal dupes. Almost everything in the ex soviet union operates outside international copyright laws and if something is originally produced outside that country it's 100% sure to be an illegal copy and have a mob connection. I live a 3 hrs drive from the border and in flea markets here one can still find pirated cds and dvds from Russia, despite the law stomping harder and harder on the vendors. Whatever they can sell they do, be it crack, hormones, guns, videos of themselves with their own kids, or bootleg cds. When one is hungry, desperate and totally disillusioned in every sense morals don't apparently count that much.
