What kind of woman is Rosa Fumetto?

I bought an okay 1978 12" on Italian RCA label, "Crazy Chat" credited by Rosa Fumetto. She sounds much like Heather Parisi, typical breathy whispers and not much talent for actual singing. She purrs, gasps and titters a lot, nibbles at your ear and tells you she's your "chat", meaning a cat? I tried Google to check this girl out and there she was, buck naked! There are several sites dedicated to Rosa, apparently yet another Italian television showgirl-cum-all-around low rent starlet who did a lot of nude spreads and a couple of dance tracks. But the Rosa who sang on my 12" went to the studio in 1978? Is she the same girl, and if so, what's she up to these days? Any Italians here who would provide some info on the delectable signorina Fumetto?

Like all the stars of the famous Parisian erotic cabaret Le Crazy Horse she was given a showname by the late owner Alain Bernardin.

The show has always featured a mix of caberet-songs and sexy disco. She was one of the absolute stars at that time and it was no exception that a Crazy Horse star would make a record. Just like collegue dancer Lova Moore (star and wife of Bernardin) who has released "Crazy lady" written by Jacques Morali. Rosa did "Crazy chat".

Later she became a star of Italian television where she had a great carreer in stripping and she also made erotic movies. "Italian boys" is one of them and is also the name of an Italo-discogroup where she was a member (Andrea Mingardi, Max Venegoni, Rosa Fumetto and Mauro Micheloni. So I'm quite sure she's the same girl.

I don't know if she is still in the entertaining biz but she was a beautiful lady and the Crazy Horse is still attracting crowds from over the world. I always liked their shows (been there several times) coz it's a very classy nude show and has an incredible 70's feeling

Thank you for the info - so, Rosa is another starlet from the world of international cabaret and naughty late night shows of the wonderful Italian television! That Morali track you mentioned will naturally be high on the list of must-haves for any eurodisco fanatic.

Well, they should certainly look for the Belgian documentary "Le Crazy Horse de Paris" by Alain Bernardin. The soundtrack for this picture is made by Jacques Morali.

There are also DVD's available with shows from the Crazy Horse where you can find some classic disco performed by classy girls. Strongly recommended for those who like stylish erotica and the older ones contain performances by Lova Moore and Rosa Fumetto.
