their version of "LOVE IN C MINOR" is fantastic, they take the song into outerspace! there is also a 12" of "COLLISION" that is worth checking out, that is how I came to be aware of this group BITD, and then bought their album.

I was only aware of Judas Iscariat/ Simon Peter from '77 by Sphinx. Presumably this is an 80s thing is it? I must admit to not caring much for this version of Love In C Minor as it doesn't have the wonderful strings of the original.

I don't think it's the same group. Sphinx of Judas Iscariot is a Costandinos/Don Ray project. The Sphinx that's featured in this thread is a Pulga/Ninzatti production and yes it's an 80's Italian thing. I don't think both acts are connected but I can be wrong.

I've only just noticed that I've actually got 'Collision' by Sphinx on a 80s Italo-disco CD comp called 'I-Robots'.
