Default Remember This Record Shack Classic?

YouTube - Break Machine - street dance

speakin of which, anyone familiar with Record Shack's discography?

I've got a white label titled Love Love Love by D.J. Edition (12 Shack 4), but without the usual SOHOT in the run-off.

Most unusal.

I think BT Express was the first RS release, but perhaps someone can confirm (or deny?)

It's my age!!!! Now my eyesight's gone too lol

DJ Edition is of course cos it's a promo, the artist name (which I've only just spotted at the top) is Above And Beyond - Love Love Love / Funkin Stuff on the flip.

What's it like?

Hmmm - Luther Vandross meets David Grant!

Forgot.........

It's a white label, however at the very top of the label in white lettering on a black background is "Record Shack of London Town".

All the info at the bottom is in English, but it says made in France.

Weird eh!

I have had a look through some info on the Record Shack label and the album notes on Record Shack presents Volume 1.. no mention of it. I wonder if it was a test pressing that never got a proper release...??

Neil - what was the first genuine hi-nrg REcord Shack release?

I know BT Express (funky disco), and Ashaye (sp?) (more funky disco) and the Cerrone ones were amongt the first, so perhaps it wasn't until SOHOT 5 or something that the 4x4 beats kicked in!?

Aha Elxiha - Soho Phase was #4
