| I remember wandering into a small dark little club and hearing this thumping beat and very uplifting lyrics which at first I thought was ABBA, I instantly fell in love with the song, raced up to the DJ booth and he scribbled down, "I'm Alive - American Fade"

| I love that Miquel Brown's piece very much! however, my favorite is PATRICK COWLEY FEAT. SYLVESTER: do ya wanna funk. It sounds so fresh and exciting, even today. |

| The first one I went out and bought was probably the Flirtations - Earthquake. But Hazell Dean's Searchin, Miquel Brown's So Many Men and Eartha Kitt - was it 'where is my man'? - they all were bought around the same time. and that's how my love affair with the 12" started. |

| How do you decide when hiNRG began? Was Patrick Cowley "the first" to do it? How about Edwin Starr's "Contact" or Claudja Barry's "Boogie Woogie Dancing Shoes? It's hard to know what my first favorite was because it seemed like just a natural progression of the disco music I was listening to all along. |

| Hey Neil Surely it all started with The Immortals - Ultimate Warlord? Although of course - hats off to Moroder's I Feel Love. I'd still say Mr Cowley was the true champion of the sound we love, with his 1981 album - Megatron Man :) |

| Yes, Massive..... Patrick Cowley - Legend his super remix of "I Feel Love" still gives me goosebumps when I hear it Really wonder what he would have thought of the rise and rise of electronic music... My guess is that he is smiling from up above!
