| I think "Get Ready" was Carol Hitchcock's only single. The only other release that she was involved in that I can think of was when she sang in the chorus for the SAW produced charity record "Let It Be" by Ferry Aid. |

| Thats correct, "Get Ready" and "Let it Be" Carol did record another single in early 1988 in Melbourne, Karen (cant remember her surname) an engineer for SAW was in the studio. It never got released.... Reason I got was that Carol's contract was a split between PWL and Mushroom (Aussie Label) and their was an issue... I know this because I was living with Carol at the time.

| I thought the video for 'Get Ready' was great. Took me ages to get hold of the 12".

| I remember hearing about a possible follow up single at the time - shame that didn't eventuate. Apparently she was a formar "door bitch" at a Melbourne nightclub before SAW found her? |

| SouthernSon01...thanks for the info on Carol. Very interesting. SAW's engineer was called Karen Hewitt incidentally. |

| Pleasure 'Poplives' and others, thanks for taking me back down memory lane...... It was Karen Hewitt and I remember while Carol was in the studio, in between talking to Karen (and some bloke) about my DJing and how much I loved (was influenced by) Giorgio Moroder and I especially loved what Patrick Cowley had done in the short time he had been around, they were blown away by that and of course the conversation got onto "THAT" 12" remix of 'I Feel Love', ahhh the early 80s (late 70s with GM) and that sequencer sound, always felt perfect and structured to me, guess I was too young for the 70s disco thing and when I started DJing (83/84) it was bloody awfull when you were first beat-mixing and you tried to mix in a 70s classic which had beat/pitch all over the place LOL Thanks everyone, as usual this place is awesome, great people, great memories and some very switched on knowledgable people are here
