Default Amanda Lear.. 80`s period

Not got very much in my collection from this lady (apart from the odd CD single and a rather dire "greatest hits" CD. Can anyone tell me about her 80`s output (especially hi-nrg recordings) ? - I have heard a track called NO CREDIT CARD but nothing else.

Hi Neil she did No Regrets in 83 which was a nice laid back Italian Gazebo type affair, and also Love Your Body which is probably my all time favourite of hers

Queen Lear has a very good site, nose around the google. Everything you need to know about the volume of her 80's output is there. My personal fave is Love Your Body, and Les Femmes is a killer as well, as is Assassino. Hell, they're all good!

did she have a few Ian Levine remixed tracks in the 80s too? Unfortunately I've never been able to find them but I've heard they were good. I think they were for 'Follow Me' and 'Gold'?

I have a remix of 'Follow Me' that came out in 1987 on Canada's Power Records label. It was actually the B-side of her cover version of the Troggs' 'Wild Thing' which, in my opinion, was horrendous. The remix of 'Follow Me', however, is gorgeous!

Unfortunately, the label doesn't say who did the remix :-? however, 'Wild Thing' was remixed by Coolwhip and Christian De Walden. Both sides were arranged and produced by Christian De Walden and Steve Singer for Zig Zag Productions. I'm assuming that the remix was not by Ian Levine.

I love this track! Such a strange song though.. "I've been living in a jungle.. where to live is so hard.. living in a jungle.. where there is no credit card" :-? Add her unusual voice to the mix, strangely catchy and compelling..

Not part of her '80s period, but I really like her new single: "Paris By Night". I think it could be classified as Euro-trance.. love it either way though..
