Default Co.Ro.

Me again...

Whilst spending time in Hungary as a student (1993), I heard a track in a club which was a cover of Patti Smith's "Because The Night", which had sections of Depeche Mode's "Master And Servant" included...I later found out this was by Co.Ro. featuring Taleesa, and eagerly purchased it...they also released a cover of Frida's "I Know There's Something Going On"...does anyone know of any other releases, and any information about the group?

Thanks! :D

Yea great cover of Because The Night & There's Something Going On. Used to play them to death when they came out! Also worth getting 4 Your Love by them. All on the Propio label. Taleesa was the vocalist and has a great voice. She also did the vocals on Secchi's Easy To Love and To A Brighter Day, both also great tunes if you can track them down :D

I loved Co.Ro. too. The b-side of "There's Something Going On" called "I Breakdown and Cry" was a favorite of mine as well. There's some info on a few of their other singles and their album here: http://www.discogs.com/artist/CO.RO.

Taleesa who sang on the first few singles had some solo releases as well. The only one I heard was called "I Found Love" which had a sort of buzzing euro flair a la Culture Beat or La Bouche. I think she's still working as she has an active website: http://www.taleesa.it
