| What a great Find. I have been playing this station since you posted it. My search list is growing daily! Such variety. Thanks so much. I have been growing so bored with the PWL station. ================ Diagonally Parked In A Parallel Universe... ================ |

I had the best of times in the best of places. Manhattan and the Pines in the Seventies, Eigthties; San Francisco too. Many trips to Europe. Today, I'm glad to be living in a small town. Cable Internet makes big city living un-necessary for me. Thanks to ebay--I have been able to find most of the records I always searched for in every flea market and record store in every city I visited. ================ Diagonally Parked In A Parallel Universe... ================ |

| Thats what I thought when I moved here, still find it a little slow though. Don't you ever need to get out and dance?? |

My Knees don't. Even if I went out, the relentless need of DJs to play what is new rather than what makes you move spoils the experience. I would like to be going to Fort Lauderdale for the Red Ball party with Robbie Leslie August 21. But I have an invisible chain. ================ Diagonally Parked In A Parallel Universe... ================ |

| I see your point, Ft lauderdale sounds fun, but I'm waiting until October fro the Trocadero transfer reunion in Sanfrancisco. That's gonna be a great night. |

I read the description of the Trocadero parties and they seem quite predictable. The long hours let the DJs play obscuria. I guess the age of being surprised and the hearing the unknown is over for me. ================ Diagonally Parked In A Parallel Universe... ================ |

Direct flat walk down second avenue. (Warmed me up for dancing) Theater district is the other side of town. I don't think there is any evidence of Twelve West Left. I pretty sure Flamingo's (Bank) building is still there. Walking is the only way to keep up with the changes in NYC. If you have limited time or energy--take the subway to the region you want to visit and then wander there. ================ Diagonally Parked In A Parallel Universe... |

| Thanx jim, I'll walk as much as possible as I like to stay fit also! After the recent underground bombings in london, i also feel a little nervous about using the subway. |

| Sandra Dee, I doubt Charlie Grappone's "Vinyl mania" store is still there , but it might be noice to visit where it stood. I went once but I'm sure Jim can tell us where it was. |

| I've checked & there is definitely a Vinyl Mania store; not sure whether it's the original one but I'll definitely be visiting! |
