 Susan Wells - underrated talent I have been listening to a great CD released in 1995 on the now defunct HOT RECORDS label.. THE BEST OF SUSAN WELLS. Susan , the sister of the late, great JAMES WELLS in my opinion is one of disco music`s forgotten talents - This CD has some great tracks by this great vocalist that sadly, never saw the light of day on vinyl. Britain`s Ian Levine wrote and composed the tracks and some were released in the mid 1980s on his NIGHTMARE GOLD label - they are very hard to find nowadays... Standout tracks include NIGHTMARE,THIS MUST BE AN AMBUSH and a great slow soul ballad called MIRROR IMAGE (duet with James) - Another superb track is MY HANDS ARE TIED that was released in 87 on NIGHTMARE RECORDS.If you come across any material by Susan - It would be well worth investing......         |
