Default Which tracks?

Having been a collector of house records for a while i`m after tracking down some disco tracks on vinyl. If anyone has any suggestions of tracks that will rock a dancefloor that are still available on ebay etc that would be great. My freinds dismiss disco as being weak pop gay drivel etc and i know there are really good tracks out there and need your help finding them and proving my mates wrong!. I keep reminding them that disco used to mean anything that worked on the dancefloor and not the bee gees!, any help appreciated.

Man! daniboy 123...your friends are callow and daft.(musically speaking) ...not to sound sardonic, but it takes a certain amount of intellect to understand all genres of music. If they can't "get-off" on Disco music....I don't know if anything will help.....so don't waste your money.

Daniboy, try some of these as a starter;

Shirley Lites - Heat you up, melt you down.
Loose Joints - Is it all over my face
Elekrick Funk - On a journey ( I sing the funk electric)
Dinosaur L - Go bang
Yello - Vicious Games
Man Friday - Love honey, Love money.
Instant Funk - I got my mind made up.
Liquid Liquid - Cavern
D Train - Youre the one for me
Strikers - Body music/ Inch by Inch
Martin Circus - Disco Circus

Thanks for them few, is that liquid liquid track the one with the bassline that grandmaster flash sampled? When i say my friends critisize disco music its only to wind me up, singing their own clever renditions of disco tracks such as "dans coming out, he wants the world to know!" etc etc blah blah blah.
I like tracks by artists such as skyy, aurra, crown heights affair, salsoul orchestra, instant funk, first choice etc but am sure there are loads more artists out there who have made records that i would like to own on vinyl.

Here, hit em with some hard ass ahead of its time stuff that could pass as modern trance or discohouse:

Sumeria - Golden Tears (1977)
Giorgio Moroder - From Here To Eternity (1977)
Daddy Dewdrop - The Real Thing (1978)
Patrick Cowley - Sea Hunt (1981)
Belle Epoque - Bamalama (1978)
Tantra - The Hills Of Katmandu (1979)
Cerrone - Supernature (1978)
THP Orchestra - Two Hot For Love (1977)
Candido - Jingo (1979)
Dance Reaction - Disco Train (1981)

..theres so much classic underground stuff out there, but theres a small handful of stuff that would show them a taste of real disco
