| From http://www.cyndilauper.com/article_d...y=all&art_id=1 Massarsky remembers. "At one point, we were all in a coffee shop across the street from the studio, and she looked at Moroder and said, ‘So, George, what kind of music do you listen to?’ And Moroder said, Well, ah, what do you mean?’ She said, "Well, I mean, are you into Buddy Holly? Ya like Elvis? Whaddya think of Eddie Cochran?’ And Moroder’s going: ‘Who are these people?’ She goes, ‘George, there are the roots of rock & roll. You wanna produce me, you’ve gotta understand this stuff. Who’re yer influences?’ And Moroder goes: ‘I am an original. I only listen to Giorgio Moroder.’ :) |
