Hey Marcio,

I find the Roberta Flack tune quite positive and lovely :-)

For a really depressingly sad and sorry song try this:
Racing Cars - They shoot horses don't they

And not all too happy also : Hi gloss - You'll never know

The best things in life are free, Peter

I have this one, need to dig it out and see why it's sad, cause I don't remember :-? , I heard it on the car Radio the other day but didn't followed the words..

"Have you seen her" Chi-lites always makes me sad. :( especially when he says "With all the people I know, I'm still a lonely man" :(

But a recent one that I can even finish is "Dancing with my Father" by Luther :( to much of a downer for me, and my father's still around...

Default My vote for saddest song

The Carpenters' "Goodbye to Love". Hard to imagine a sadder lyric than "The only thing I know of love is how to live without it."

Once again, I'm gonna mention Loleatta Holoway's The Greatest Performance Of My Life wherein the diva sounds suicidal and verging on madness!!! :o :-? :(

"I laughed Pagliacci...ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!!!" (she sounds tres demented.)

This has gotta be the Ultimate Diva In Distress tune....DRAMA QUEENs to the dancefloor..puh-leeeeeeeeeeeeeze!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :P  :P
