Default Pamela Nightingale for Sandra.

Hi There, I've just discovered this site with the help of my nephew Joshua. You were asking about the song I'll Never Fall in Love Again, and you are talking to Pamela herself!
We were scouring the internet to see if we could find any links to music related to myself, and we landed up here. How cool is that? Look forward to chatting a bit later today.

Well hello Pamela! It's so exciting when an actual disco artist appears here! Do you still perform & if so are you still involved in dance music? I always loved 'Ill Never Fall In Love Again' & thought it was a shame that it never seemed to get the mass exposure that other hi-nrg tracks of the time like Hazell Dean & Evelyn Thomas got.

Hello, Pamela!

I concur with SandraDee, your recording of "I'll Never Fall In Love Again" is superb! It's one of my favorite Hi-NRG tracks: it has attitude, power and personality.

I *finally* found a CD version of it on a Japanese Hi-NRG compilation, so I don't have to worry about my vinyl copy wearing out. :-)

I started going to clubs when I was 17, so not only did I dance to that song on weekend nights, but I'd sing and dance along to it in front of the mirror in my bedroom. Oops...too much info? :-)

Thanks for recording such a great song!

Claude

Default Thank you so much. xxxx

Hi Thank you both for your responses, and thank you for being and loving a part of my life that I really enjoyed too.
I only ever made the one single, as sadly I had to retire due to ill health. I'm fine, but now spend my time writing and fund raising as I'm unable to perform.
I've had a really good career as a singer (or singist as I like to call it). My names have been many, my successes have been enough for me to cope with. I'm so glad I never hit the upper regions of the national charts, as the pressure and stress is so immense. :o that spelling looks wrong...oh well.

I look forward to chatting with you again soon. Take care,`

Sippedeedoo :P or Pammywammy.

Guuuurrrrl, now you gone and done it....

How can you just sit there, after telling us that your "names have been many" and not spill the beans?

Are there more recordings we NEED to know about? :-)

You can't leave us hanging like that!

I like the idea of recording under different names. I believe that Yvonne Kay & Spagna were the same Italian singist (sic ) going by different names. I don't think I'd like to be a famous performer even if I had the talent/ creativity 'cos the attention seems so addictive; it's so sad watching people like Tony Hadley or Sonia trying to recapture that fame when their star has faded. :( You did the right thing Pammy getting out before the madness began! :P
