Does anybody know much about this record label?

There seem to be a whole of lcool disco records associated with generic orange 12" ers..
I like Firefly "loves gonna be on your side", Young & Co "I like what you're doing to me", Bay o "Ine the forest", and "no time like now" (the group name escapes me). Who are Excalibre records? are they related?

Yes they are related. At the time they were distributed by CBS
then PRT (the old PYE label). PRT went bust in 1988/89. They normally produced dance product; Tony Rallo & the midnight band, Kelly Marie, Baby O etc. They seemed to disappear in the early 80s. There were some comp albums called Calibre Cuts and only availible now in charity shops.

As far as I know Calibre had only re-released in UK titles already printed in the US.
If I well remember their outstanding releases are the UK only remix of BT EXPRESS's 'Give up the funk' and 'Does it feel good', and the UK only instrumental version of CONVERTION's 'Let's do it'

I have a double LP of a load of early '80s dance/disco called "Double Deckers", which looks like it was aimed at the 'DJ' market :-?. But, there are some cracking artists on the two records like Imagination, Young & Co., Firefly, Mick Jackson, Jesse Green, Kelly Marie, Leprechaun "Lock it up" etc. As you say Davicillo, a lot of stuff from the PRT, Calibre, Excalibre labels.

Finally got a copy of Leprechaun "Loc it up". Does anyone have a back catalogue listing of of calibre tracks
