I'm seeing quite a few songs that have long instrumental passages, but have a chorus that's sung by singers; that is not an instrumental in my book.
sorry to annoy you Marky :-?

Hey Guys... 8) When I saw this thread the first song that came to mind was my ALL TIME fave instrumental (well sort of instrumental) "Love Is The Message" by MFSB & The Three Degrees. Another one of my absolute favorites is a record that I used to hear a lot at mid 1970s house parties...Does anyone remember the instrumental version of "Bad Luck" by The Atlanta Disco Band? We played the grooves out of that 45 r.p.m.!!! Take Care... Mario

"Morricone" by the Black Light Orchestra- as if "Hills of Katmandu" had been done by the Salsoul Orchestra (they both sort-of share the same musical "movements", if you will- listen to them back to back!)

Much of Space or Kebekelektrik are instrumentals.
i.e. "War Dance"

Probably it's safe to say that one of my signature songs is an insrumental...and that would be "Invasion" by Patrick cowley.
