hi everybody! I have to my collection the first album of Tom Tom Club which includes their first hit Wordy Rapping Hood.(6.27 minutes). For many years I was Trying to find the original 12' remix and I finally found the UK 12' single(6.41 minutes).I dont Know the reason but the version in a special edition of their album(cd) is exactly the same but in 6.39 minutes. Has anyone ever heard a longer version of wordy rapping hood? I am asking because I heard a version with longer intro.(typewriter) Does this special Remix exist? Is It a promo?

My Promo US Sire release clocks at 6:39, I don't remember any remixes back then, but there was/is a Rap on the Profile label that had an almost identical instrumental used for extending the original BITD, I can't find it now since I forgot the band's name, but I will find it, eventually

Never mind JorgeB, I was thinking of Dr Jeckyll and Mr Hyde's "Genious Rap" with the intrumental "genious of love" on the flip. By the way the Sire 12" I mentioned has the 'Typewriter intro'
