I absolutely adore Sam Fox's 'Nothings Gonna Stop Me Now'; it's hi-nrg heaven IMO. I love how they worked with 'naff' artists like Mandy Smith, Sinitta, Sam Fox, Reynolds Girls, Sir Cliff etc.etc. I can't stand people who try to be cool; SAW were uncool & totally brilliant because of it IMO.

San, where did you get that? I'm the biggest SAW-fan ever! I adore them, they are very useful! Without those wonderful songwriters I would not be able to fill pages on this board about my (own & humble) opinion that the 80's sucked big time dancewise :o

SAW 4EVER!!!!

Seriously, I'm not following a flock of people that decided that it was utterly cool to dislike them. They simply can not seduce me with their songs. I never heard a SAW production that made me go run to the shops and buy it.

But, as Davicillo said, they made some good pop tunes but I'm not into those for the same reason that I am not a big Motown fan either although I fully recognize the impact and the influence those records had on the later Disco-scene. I do adore Diana Ross but I rarely play Supremes-tracks or early Stevie Wonder to give you an example. It's just a personal perception and yes, maybe I am hurting their feelings sometimes, certainly since I discovered that Quinny is the nickname of Pete Waterman. Hey Pete, BTW I do like your remix of Kinkina's "Jungle Fever"
