Simple Pleasure 1992LP Great group or not?

This group released one self-entitled album in late 1992 on reprise. It yielded the hits "Never before" and "Where do we go from here". I've always dug this group as much as Shalamar or Atlantic Starr. It's been a decade and I still do not get enough of them but why were they so obscure? Has anyone ever heard of them?
