I still think the song's subject is cheesy (OK,like I could really get down thinking about how sexy Superman is?) but the cooing vocals and great intros to both these versions make them highly danceable. I think I'd pick Herbie Mann's. The Celi Bee version was better in its Hot Tracks mix. The LP/12" mix lacked something.

Herbie Mann! That reminds of an old vinyl I have: "Let's all dance with superfriends" That's a cheesy one, altough there's one good track on it: "Superfly", not the one from Curtis Mayfield but a Cerrone/Space kinda thing. I'm going to search that one and put in the vault!

I'd say Herbie Mann as well, the entire Supermann album is right up there with Patrick Adams' best stuff IMO..
