Whats the purpose of your site Discosavvy? Like a lot of the sub-genres(Which more often than not are pointless anyway) just seem made up to satisfy some need to associate certain songs with discos . Maybe im wrong but it seems more work than its worth

Kylie Minoque's "Better the Devil You Know" was released as in April 1990. This song gets still played at 00.30 precisely every Saturday night at London's G.A.Y disco bash as the ultimate disco anthem. So, ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner. And I'm going to see KYLIE LIVE IN CONCERT tonight in Helsinki!!!!

Well, there were 11 800 of us at the Hartwall Arena where the sold-out concert took place yesterday, and all of us men, c 5 500 of us, we were up on our feet stomping and clapping and dancing and singing along with The Diva, so welcome to Finland, Sandra! And what a concert - dressed in Jean Paul Gaultier the 12 dancers and Kylie took us thru 3 totally disco sequences during the 2,5 hrs set. The first was a spactacular tropical medley of "Love Boat Theme " and "Copacabana". At the beginning of the second, she called out "Anyone want to go to THE DISCO?!" and launched into "Step Back In Time", while the massive led screen stage flashed into the familar Sat. Night Fever-style dance floor under the troupe's feet and all along the sides. The best was the 3rd. That was color-coded in stark black and white and started with the dancers doing a traditional waltz for a while, dressed in French revolution era clothes. Then a bass drum kicked in and Kylie appeared, marching militantly foward and bursting into a jubilant "Your Disco Needs You". Totally amazing and incredibly camp. and yes, us heteros get camp as well! Discosavvy, hello? Was there some talk of money...?
