Hi Passaro, that's really a great disco-house song. I listened to all the other tracks at that page, except "I Love Music" which wouldn't load, and yours was my favorite. Will West End Records be releasing it at the end of 2005, like they did for the last set of top 10s? I tried to vote for your tune tonight but it returned the error "Sorry! You alreday voted for Passaro "A Love Mystery". You may only vote once." Did I really do that already? But they only had voting up for a few weeks, and I don't remember voting previously. Since I'm using a broadband service, perhaps someone else in my area voted for you already? I hope they really count by specific IP address and not by IP block. If there is a possibility this is an erroneous message, I'd have to vote using a proxy server, if I didn't vote yet. If this happened to me, then how many other potential voters are getting locked out of the process by apparently sharing an IP address? I'm really confused now; I thought I hadn't voted before tonight, but I can't figure how else I saw this error?

I Actually listened to all 10 songs, well some got my attention for about 20 seconds some 1 minute, Guess what! "a Love mystery" did run from start to end. You actually laid down some work on the bassline and the drums. Your track is definitely the best among the 10 presented. Good Luck!!!

Passaro: OK just an update... it may have been a glitch the other day, because using the same IP address as the other day I went back to the site and was able to vote for "Love Mystery". So this time I got a beautiful "Thank You For Voting!" message, and I didn't even have to switch servers or computers. I kept thinking about this all week and there was no way I could have voted yet, and that bothered me, but now my vote is finally registered. I actually listened to 8 of the tracks all the way through. I liked 3 of the other songs, including one of the two from South Africa and I think one from America also, but "Love Mystery" sustained my interest the best.

Still says that I have already voted for Passaro. I think the Bad Science track is probably the most commerial. Why do people loop a drum pattern ad infinitum for an intro, without ringing any changes whatsoever every 8/16 bars and why is the same riff repeated over and over and over and over and over and over and over.........and over, with no expansion, addition, variation or whatever? Is it laziness, lack of ideas, lack of experience, lack of musicality or what?

Wow, what a great song. This is my first time on the forum and wasn't inclined to register. The song sounds like it was made in the 80s, but it sounds incredibly fresh. Just like listening to sharon redd's beat the street instrumental by francois k. It also reminds me of metro area. Can't wait for this to pressed on vinyl.. What samples did you use (that is if you've used any)?
