“People Talk” Donna Summer; Saint White Party; Robbie Leslie

For me, the peak moment at the Saint White Party in 1984, 1985 and 1986 was always the Donna Summer Song “People Talk” played by Robbie Leslie at about 4 to 5 AM.

Rumor had it that he had one of the few copies released of this song at that time. It had a long section of two or three women talking (not Donna Summer) about men—“…tongue on the run…”.

I use to go to the music stores in NYC and ask about the Donna Summer song with the women talking in it and they must have thought I was crazy. Remember we didn’t even have a title then.

Finally when “I’m a Rainbow” was finally released in 1996 I found out the title. I was so disappointed that the rap for “People Talk” was not there. I waited for a single to be released expecting that they were saving it for the single.

Does anybody know of a “People Talk” recording and any additional information?

Why were no singles released after the 1996 CD?
