Default ARTIST SPOTLIGHT #13 - TAANA GARDNER

Taana Gardner was one of those artist that could've been a mega hit star.... She had a similar voice to Stephanie Mills... but, maybe being on the WEST END Label didn't help. :(

Her first smash single WORK THAT BODY is absolutely top shelf in my book.. :D

2 Years later .... she dropped down to 98 BPM and had another hit HEARTBEAT for which rounds out my favorites. To the board, what do you think of Taana! 8)

All the above and don't forget "When You Touch Me" with that creeping up the back of your neck acappela intro.

The intro for 'When You Touch Me' is rather ethereal and is quite nice on its own. 'Work That Body' is her best, I think.

If I remember, the quality of Heartbeat on West End was pretty bad.
