I can attest that this topic has come up before, and it appears that the "Madleen Kane died of a drug o.d." story is a DISCO URBAN LEGEND. Therefore NOT TRUE...but definitely out there being repeated as if it is.

I bet she married some European porn producer. She looks like a porno babe to me. BUT I did like most of her music. :D

I also did the internet search by keywords earlier, and did not find news of her death. I regret I assumed anyway, probably incorrectly, that Madleen Kane had died, and that I made a post indicating that. I made my assumption based on my recollection of that old post on this site. But it was not disco1999's fault, it was the fault of whatever bozo wrote the article disco1999 read. I am glad if she is alive; now if she would only do some new music.

The problem is that you can't find recent info on her. That's perhaps why many people think she's gone.

I heard she married a European pornoproducer but it's not confirmed.

Other sources told me she's seen in San Diego with a guy who drives a Pontiac Trans Am.

We're desperately waiting for some news on her.
