from: http://www.blackwebportal.com/wire/D...ArticleID=1949

London, Aug 5

A source at Def Jam Records has confirmed that Ronald Isley suffered what is being described as a “minor stroke” Friday in London.

The 63-year-old veteran of the sibling group, the Isley Bros., was in the U.K. for a show when he became ill while walking down a London street with his wife.

The Cincinnati-born singer was hospitalized at a medical facility in the city.

Upon hearing the news, Isley’s ex-wife, singer Angela Winbush, caught a flight to London to be by his side.

Calls to Isley’s assistant were not immediately returned.

Oh brother!!!!! :(

My prayers will be with him.... absolutely one of the most recognizable voices in the music business.... When he belts out a note, you know who is singing...

So true efunk!
An after that wonderful Bacharach album I was kinda hoping for more in the same style, instead of the mr Biggs stuff.
Wonder what will happen next.. :-?
