I was so-so on her disco stuff originally. My appreciation for her disco music has really grown from the first time when I heard them at the discos or on the radio. I talking about Diana Ross. My consistent favorite from her is "The Boss." Now it's your turn.

The only track of hers I ever liked was "Love Hangover". Never really rated her other stuff.

I would agree with you, HustleBaby. It is one of my Disco Classics too.

I love that sultry smoky opening and then WHAM !! you get hit with that fantastic storming driving bass and hihat rhythm. Love it!!

Jazzy,
My reasons for loving this song is just as you described. I get a rush everytime I listen to it. I remember when my mother bought the album, I think we played it everyday. I just turned on the radio and guess what they're playing....

Two other songs that I forgot to add are "Theme From Mahogany (Do You Know Where Your Going To)" and "The Boss". I know this isn't disco but I also like "Touch Me In The Morning".

Me too. Actually, I love the entire "Touch Me In The Morning" album, except for her version of "Imagine", which just reeks of insincerity.

Never could stand the BITCH!!!!

PSYCHE!!!!!

If ya know anything about me, rest assured that DIANA ROSS was and will always be .."MY DIVA".

People have mentioned the biggest hits already. I love them all.

I'm gonna plug a few more obscure items from the Ross repetoire:

"Chain Reaction" (written & produced by Barry Gibb--this is a knock-out that bombed in the U.S. but was a smash in Europe.)

"Lovin, Livin' & Givin"- (the original version was remixed with a Giorgio Moroderish synth line and used on the "Thank God It's Friday" soundtrack--this cut never took off either)

"It's My House" - (Ashford/Simpson tune from "The Boss" given a sweet morning music extended version by Jimmy Simpson).

No one gets the prize was a great song from "The Boss" LP.

Never liked any of her songs as Disco + I heard Sylvester's version of Love Hangover is better than hers.
