A very apt title for the song. It was huge as a UK import when I first started going out to clubs around 90 - 91. Heard it almost every night for about two years. Then, after another year or so (one generation in club terms; enough for the majority of clubbers to be too young to remember) a remixed version came out... which wasn't all that different from the original. And well, I would've been hearing it every night again, but by that point I had become completely bored and disillusioned with the whole nightclub scene (and society in general, but that's another rant entirely).

If I went to a club now, I would almost expect to be hearing a trance/deep house cover/remix of this song. It's one of those tracks like "You Used To Hold Me" -- just when you think it's been beaten to death, someone else recycles it and it comes back to haunt you yet again.

As a matter of fact there was a remix done about 5 years ago. I think it came out on the Almighty label.

Besides being a great song, what reminds me most of it was the first version I had in the latter part of 87, don't remember if it was promo or an import, was that the middle break in the song had a screwed up tempo - after the 2nd time I had a bad mix out of it I realized it was the song, not me. After that I switched to the Disconet or PrimeCuts version. (Again, I don't remember which, probably the Disconet cut.)
