Well, could there be a worse transition from the gritty funk of "Fight The Power" than into the sissy-Mary-Broadway-queen disco of "I Could Have Danced All Night"????

However, that's the way they ranked on the year-end chart and that's the way I taped em. There was just this moment when "Fight the Power" was fading and I thought "Oh god, I hope the next song is cool too"...and then that trashy Biddu crap started!!!!!

And I lunged for the volume control!!!!!!!!! :P

ps. ...although I agree that for that LA disco sound .. you can't beat THE ISLEYS or ROSE ROYCE ..... but one should never feel embarrassed about playing the great BIDDU !!!!!! Crank it up and play it loud as you saunter though the hills of Griffith Park on a warm evening !! 8) :D PERFECT !!! 8) :D

Marky--you can find "Look On the Good Side" on the CD The Spirit of Philadelphia, which is very worthwhile. Here's the entire tracklist:

2 This Love Affair/Gloria Gaynor
3 Stay With Me/Futures
4 Your Love Has Me Locked Up/Modulations
5 We've Got to Survive/Revelation
6 Look on the Good Side/Invitations
7 Make It Last/Barbara Mason
8 Good for the Gander/Jermaine Jackson
9 It's Got to Be Now or Never/Little Dooley
10 One More Time/Dianne Steinberg
11 I Love You Pretty Baby/Touch of Class
12 Hurt So Bad/Philly Devotions
13 They Say the Girl's Crazy/Invitations
14 Where It's Warm/Revelation
15 I Just Can't Say Goodbye/Touch of Class
16 A Little Bit of Love/Charen Cotten
17 Happiness Is/New York City
18 Will You Be Mine Whispers (had to get all the old Whispers LPs after hearing this gorgeous number)
