Default Do You Remember: Faith, Hope, & Charity?

Hello Everyone...I was just remembering one of my favorite, favorite disco acts from the 70s...I loved "Faith, Hope, & Charity"!!! I remember some of my favorites were: "To Each His Own", "Find A Way", and "Life Goes On". I've always felt that this group was sooo underated! :(
I couldn't understand why their songs never charted the Top 40! If I'm not mistaken I believe that they were produced by Van McCoy but I'm not too sure. Does anyone know when they disbanded or why? Have they ever reunited? And has anyone ever found a Faith, Hope, & Charity CD? Thanks for any information on this great group!! Take Care....Mario

In addition to what you mentioned, I always liked "Don't Pity Me."

Default Faith, Hope & Charity

Hi,

In addition to these songs, don't forget the "Time for Celebration".

I have the "To each his own" LP and yes it was arranged by Van McCoy. Never find a Faith, Hope & Charity CD.

Cheers,

rhessel

I also thought Faith, Hope and Charity was underrated. To Each His Own (5:16) was contained on the Dance, Dance, Dance The Very Best of RCA's All Time Greatest Dance Music CD, Turn the Beat Around-Great Disco Hits, Big 12 Inches: More More More and Disco Express, Vol. 2. Life Goes On (6:26) was contained on Dance Dance Dance Vol 2 from RCA. I don't know if they are still in print.

You lucky ducky!!! I wish I bought that LP when it first came out :(

I tell ya for 1975.... TOO EACH HIS OWN was arguably one of the top 10 songs for that year. Record World Magazine charted it at it's peak ... #15  in the USA.

I'm wondering who produced them after 1975... anybody?

This Tampa trio featuring Brenda Hillard, Albert Bailey, and Zulema Cusseaux began recording for Maxwell in 1970, produced by Van McCoy, who wrote their first three singles. "So Much Love" reached 14 on the R&B charts for Maxwell, and they scored their only number one R&B hit with "To Each His Own" on RCA in 1975. Cusseaux departed in 1971, and Hillard and Bailey were a duo until Diane Destry joined them in 1974. They stayed on RCA until 1978, when they moved to 20th Century. The group had one last hit, "Don't Pity Me" in 1978, which was an R&B Top 20 release. Their album on 20th Century Fox was arranged/produced by Van McCoy also. Source: Allmusic.
