I had a belated reaction to the Bukem stuff - kind of lush ambient drum&bass, with burbling noises, string-like washes of sound, a little tinking piano here and there. Do try the Earth series vols 1-2 especially for jittery futurist sambas and soothing soundscapes.

OH yeah, LTJ Bukem. Makes great music (used to be Drum and Bass pioneer), and own a fantastic label: Good Looking records.
I've got one of the EARTH vinyl boxes (released in 200) I first i tought it would be just another Drum and Bass compilation, but it wasn't! Just 1 D&B song, the others are groovy deephouse tracks, or latin broken beats. Artist like John Beltran, Makoto, Lacarno and Burns.
Nice and relaxed! Ideal for a sweet summer evening.
